DISCOVERY CENTER

 

The Discovery Center, our pre-school program, meets five days a week from 8:50am. to 3:30pm. The Discovery Center serves children from three to five years of age. In the Discovery Center the day includes a minimum of two and a half hours of individualized instruction in speech, auditory training and language instruction. The remainder of the day is allotted for preschool activities designed to accelerate the process of learning spoken language. We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education as a special needs non-graded program up to the second grade. Each student at Ohio Valley Voices not only receives specialized instruction on how to talk but also receives an excellent curriculum designed to meet the specialized needs of hearing impaired children and provides an enriched educational experience that follows the academic requirements of the Ohio Department of Education.
